An Alumna Returns to Heritage

Posted: January 26th, 2009

In May 2008, Heritage graduated its first eighth grade class.  On Saturday, January 24th, during an Open House interview, alumna Hannah Rae Faulk shared the benefit of her Heritage education with Rev. Dr. Davis Owens, Head of School.

Hannah Rae had been a student at Heritage for 9 years.  She fondly remembered the impact that each of her teachers had had on her life and readily shared that she still communicates regularly with many of her Middle School teachers.  She recounted the benefits of a small school, the friendships she had with students of all ages, and the individual attention she received from her teachers who knew her abilities, her personality, and her skills.  She was taught diligence and good study habits (especially how to take notes and writing structure).  She feels that she was well prepared both spiritually and academically to transition into high school.
