Enrichment I and Enrichment Music
I am pleased to be joining the Heritage faculty this year! I am originally from Atlanta and graduated from Berry College in Rome, Georgia. Though I was raised in church and am fortunate to have believing parents, I did not come to know the Lord until my freshman year of college when I was blessed to become involved with Campus Outreach Ministries. Through spending each of my four college summers on beach projects and an overseas project in Kazakhstan, I began to believe the Lord was calling me to full-time ministry. I joined the Campus Outreach staff in December of 1995 and spent the next eight years working with the ministry, beginning on the campus and eventually moving to the administrative office.
My ministry background lays the foundation on which I begin my teaching position at Heritage. I see teaching as an incredible opportunity to minister not only to my students, but to their families as well. I look forward to spending the next year walking alongside parents in helping their children grow in the grace and truth of our Lord.
My husband Greg is the Director of Worship and Arts at ChristChurch Presbyterian Church, P.C.A. in Buckhead. We are immeasurably blessed to parent a buoyant three-year-old little boy. We travel together for several weeks a year leading worship for Mission to the World, the missions sending agency for our denomination. Through this work we have been blessed to meet and minister to people who are leading people to Christ and planting churches all over the world. Greg and I (along with our son) will be traveling to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this year to lead worship for missionaries from all over Asia, Southeast Asia, and Australia.
After hours I most enjoy spending time with my family, which includes our 100 lb “first born,” Rudy (the love of our child’s life). Any time after that can usually find me cooking, reading, traveling, and eating Mexican food.
