Class 4

I am privileged to join the staff at Heritage Preparatory School. As an aunt to six nieces and nephews, most of my free time over the past seven years has been spent enjoying time with these amazing new additions to our family. I credit them with leading me to teaching.

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Auburn University in 2002. Having lived in Marietta my entire life, I returned to Atlanta to work in public relations. I enjoyed the exciting business world and gained important knowledge from this experience. However, I always yearned for more purposeful work. I began teaching Sunday School and quickly realized what I had been missing in my life. It was God who called me to embark on this major life change.

While pursuing my Master’s in Teaching, I have been working at the elementary school level. Then once again, God led me to Heritage. I am so blessed to find a school that aligns with my personal beliefs regarding education and offers a wonderful community of parents, teachers, staff, and students.

I am looking forward to learning with the students at Heritage and helping them to recognize how they can also serve God.
