Core Values

The core values of Heritage Preparatory School are the bedrock principles that distinguish Heritage as an institution. New ideas and practices are tested against core values.  The Board of Trustees is committed to these values on behalf of present and future constituents.  The administration, faculty, and staff are committed to and responsible for implementing the core values in all policies and practices of the school.

FAITH: Heritage is committed to education grounded in Christian principles. This includes supporting and strengthening the Christian faith and character of its students, families, faculty, and staff.  

FAMILY: Heritage recognizes that the primary responsibility of the family is to educate children. The school is committed to fostering a supportive community of like-minded families.

ACADEMICS: Heritage is committed to fostering intellectually promising, academically able students to fulfill their God-given potential by means of time-tested, classical instructional methods and curriculum. The school encourages the development of good manners and godly habits.

CHARACTER: The School is committed to enabling the development of personal integrity in students who are expected to respect authority and to live with a conscious awareness of serving the needs of others.

CULTURE: Heritage is committed to promoting a culture of innocence in childhood while also preparing and equipping older students for further education in a world that neither knows nor honors the Savior, Jesus Christ.
