Fine Arts

Discover your child’s creative potential at Heritage Preparatory School where fine arts, excellence, and faith come together.

We invite you to explore all that Heritage’s Fine Arts program has to offer. Whether your child is an experienced theater performer, an aspiring artist, or simply curious about trying something new, there is a place for them in our vibrant Fine Arts community. Our teachers shape a students affections toward the true, good, and beautiful by pointing them to the beauty of the fine arts.

At Heritage, we nurture the talents that God has given each student and help them use those gifts to impact the world for Christ.

"For we are God's masterpieces, He has created us new in Christ Jesus so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago." Ephesians 2:10

Theater

Heritage’s drama program allows students to explore the art of storytelling through performance. From acting and directing to stage design and scriptwriting, students are involved in all aspects of bringing a production to life. Each year, our students have the chance to participate in a full-scale production, showcasing their talents and teamwork for the school and broader community.

Visual Arts

Our visual arts program helps students express themselves through mediums like painting, drawing, sculpture, and photography. Students are guided to develop technical skills while learning about art history, composition, and the creative process. With dedicated studio space and mentorship from experienced instructors, students have the opportunity to create works that inspire and challenge both themselves and others.

Music & Choir

At Heritage, we emphasize the importance of music education from PreK through 12th grade, nurturing an appreciation for Western Art music. Our curriculum focuses on literacy, hymn studies, and historical understanding, starting with enhanced listening and developing singing proficiency. Students explore folk songs, classical compositions, and Christian hymns, engaging in activities like sight-singing, rhythm dictation, and movement.

Student Artist Highlight: Karis

This year, Karis' creativity and dedication took center stage in her concentrated semester on pottery. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for craftsmanship, Karis explored the art of ceramics, mastering techniques that brought her unique vision to life. From intricate hand-thrown pieces to beautifully glazed designs, her work reflected both skill and artistry.

Karis approached each project with patience and precision, transforming raw clay into stunning works of art. Her commitment to the creative process and willingness to experiment with form and texture set her apart as a standout artist. We celebrate Karis for her hard work and artistic growth and look forward to seeing how she continues to use her talents to inspire others.
