ATLANTA, GA – May 21, 2025 – Heritage Preparatory School is proud to announce the graduation of its inaugural senior class. On Saturday, May 17, 2025, 14 seniors walked the stage at Heritage Prep’s first-ever commencement ceremony, marking a historic milestone in the life of the school and the culmination of a vision years in the making.
While the achievements of the Class of 2025 are exceptional—earning over $4 million in college scholarships and receiving acceptances from 45 universities across the United States and around the world—the true legacy of this class lies far deeper. These students have not only excelled academically but have also embodied the mission and values of Heritage Prep: thinking with excellence, believing with confidence, and living with character.
This class will go on to attend prestigious institutions such as the University of Georgia, Auburn University, University of Alabama, Texas A&M, Belmont University, University of California Davis, William & Mary, and even the historic University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
“We find ourselves filled with awe, not because of what these students have achieved, but, much more importantly, because of who they have become,” said Headmaster Erin Hames. “They are scholars, artists, athletes, servant leaders, and thoughtful citizens. More importantly, they are young men and women formed to seek wisdom and to pursue lives of purpose and impact, grounded in faith.”
Quoting C.S. Lewis’s famous reflection on putting “first things first,” the school emphasized that this graduating class did not chase prestige or accolades—but rather pursued character, calling, and Christ-centered formation. The results speak for themselves.
When the high school launched four years ago, Heritage Preparatory School’s vision was to be a place where students would be deeply formed—mind, heart, and soul—for lives of purpose, impact, and faithfulness and to be a beacon of hope to a complex world.
The Class of 2025 stands as a powerful testament to that vision fully realized.
This past weekend, Heritage Preparatory School celebrated this momentous occasion and honored the pioneering class that has set the standard for generations to come.
